Madelyn May Photography Love Story: Josh & Makayla

Josh and Makayla got married in August! I know that it’s been a few months but this “off season” hasn’t caught up to me yet. I am still waiting for the down time but I am grateful to be busy. If you don’t know Josh and Makayla personally, let me tell you about their love story! Josh and Mak’s family had known each other for a while but Josh and Mak had never met. They met at a super bowl game for the first time and hit it off! Thanks to Josh’s cousin and Mak’s sister pushing for them to meet <3

Makayla said “I realized I was gonna marry him when I saw just how perfect he fit in with my family and how it already felt like he had been a part of the family for a long time”.

Mak’s favorite part about them is that they are Best Friends. They have so much in common and have many of the same interests. While Mak was describing their friendship is sounded like they really enjoyed just being around each other as often as possible. They enjoy doing even the small things together like doing errands or just simply sitting at home talking with each other.

Mak also said “I look forward to our future the most. Having kids, buying our first house together and eventually being those really embarrassing parents and grandparents to our future kids/ grandkids”.

It was a lot of fun shooting their wedding. There was a lot of happy tears, uncontrollable laughter, and dancing. Makayla also offered her wedding planning advice to other bride’s. She is too sweet!

Josh you’re sure one lucky guy! I wish the happiest future to you both and can’t wait to take photos of your future kiddos. 😉 I hope that wasn’t too soon! haha.
